Adapted for the stage by Ian Sharp, with original music by Tim Sutton, this unique and captivating production brings Milton's classic poem to life for contemporary audiences. The play is a 21st century, often comic, take on the ancient story of Adam, Eve and Satan. Milton's themes are perhaps now more relevant than ever: Adam and Eve lost Paradise - are we about to do the same?
About A Certain Demographic.
A Certain Demographic was formed in 2017 to give older actors the opportunity to play roles normally reserved for younger performers. Their docudrama, 'Conchies', enjoyed a highly successful 2 year tour including a sell-out success at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe. Paradise Lost was due to debut at Edinburgh Fringe 2020 but Covid had other ideas. It is with great joy that they bring it to life this summer.
