As Don Pedro’s soldiers return from war and two couples fall in love, disaster, disgrace and even death lurk just around the corner... Can the town’s one-person crime fighting machine, Dogberry, save the day? Or will they only make matters a whole lot worse?
Following 2021’s smash hit production of Twelfth Night, HCT bring their anarchic charms to another of Shakespeare’s best-loved romantic comedies, Much Ado About Nothing. Chock full of music and misconceptions, parties and pranks, double-crossing and double-dating, this 75 minute production will delight young and old alike.
Half Cut Theatre brings surprising, funny and moving work to every part of the country. With roots in outdoor theatre, HCT was set up in August 2020 in direct response to the pandemic's devastating effect on the theatre industry. They perform all year round in the open air - village greens, nearby castles, churches, gardens and local theatres - engaging the community, and offering a ‘pay-what-you-decide’ experience.
