HAMLET

by William Shakespeare

Directed by Deborah Shakespeare Thurber

Treason. Murder. Revenge.

Ghost story, political intrigue, doomed romance – Hamlet is one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies!

Deadly forces are stirring in Denmark.

King Hamlet is dead – murdered secretly by his own brother, who has claimed his crown and widowed queen. Prince Fortinbras of Norway is gathering an army of lawless resolutes to avenge his father’s death at the hands of the late King Hamlet and reclaim his stolen lands. Caught between these existential threats is Hamlet – paralyzed by circumstances – mad by his inability to act.

Brought to you by Project Shakespeare, a U.S. based touring troupe of young actors.
